EMILY DEVENPORT will be premiering at DCC the first in her new series The Medusa Cycle, “Medusa Uploaded: A Novel”. Called “an imaginative, intense mystery about family dramas and ancient technologies” the book is the latest epic for the science fiction author who brought you “Godheads” and “Eggheads” twenty years ago.
Since then, Emily has written many short stories which appeared in Asimov's SF, Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine, Clarkesworld, Uncanny, Cicada, and the Mammoth Book of Kaiju. Her day job is at the Heard Museum in Phoenix, Arizona. She is an aspiring geologist, an avid hiker and gardener, and a volunteer at the Desert Botanical Garden.
