Arthur Adams is a self-taught comic book artist and writer. He first broke into the comic book industry with the 1985 Marvel Comics miniseries, Longshot, and has been in high demand as an artist ever since.
Adams' highly distinctive and detailed artwork gained him considerable popularity amongst fans and editors. His artwork can be found in various miniseries, specials, and annuals. Throughout his career, he has worked on many titles, including Batman, Superman, Spiderman, X Men, Godzilla, Vampirella, Rocketeer, Danger Girl, Excalibur, and the Hulk. He has also launched his creator-owned, written, and drawn series Monkeyman and O’Brian.
He has provided cover images for issues of the Justice League of America, Appleseed, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Green Lantern, Hulk, Avengers, and Red Sonja, among other titles. He has also produced illustrations for trading cards, posters, shirts, magazines, movies, video games, and toy design.
